Meet Kate!
Milk+Honey has a new employee and we are so excited to introduce you to her!
I am a wife and mama to our sweet girl, Olive, as well as a dog and cat mom to Mookie and Moxie (Go SOX)! My husband Josh and I have been married for 8 years. We love leading worship together, traveling (especially to Bermuda or the OBX), surfing, playing cards and finding new coffee shops to hang out at! I have a degree in social work and worked as a case manager for a few years before switching careers to be the Worship Director at my church. Since becoming a mom I have had the sweetest opportunity to stay at home with my daughter and just recently started working at Milk + Honey, which has been such a blessing! I am obsessed with the tv show Friends and actually had the theme song sang at our wedding! I love all types of music but my favorite band is Paramore. I love coffee and dream to one day open my own coffee shop!
What’s your favorite color?
It changes often, but currently Periwinkle. Also, Olive Green since that’s my daughters name ;)
How do you like your coffee?
I just love coffee in any form! I prefer hot coffee in the morning and iced coffee any other time :) My go to order would be an Iced latte with oat milk and some White Mocha and Vanilla!
What’s your favorite candy/dessert?
My favorite candy is Twizzlers and York peppermint patties. My favorite dessert would probably be brownies.
What is your LEAST favorite job/responsibility at Milk+Honey?
I don’t have a least favorite (yet) but it stinks when an order doesn’t have a story attached to it! Love reading those!
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I love spending time with family and friends. I enjoy the beach and surfing and playing any type of game or sport! Also love just a chill evening with a family walk :)
What is your top pick (favorite piece) of jewelry from the Milk+Honey collection?
That’s tough, I don’t have any jewelry yet because I just can’t make up my mind! But I lean towards more simple and plain jewelry. I love all of the pearl pieces and also the stacking rings!
What is your favorite design of all the pieces we’ve made?
I really love the simple and timeless look with just milk and pearl shimmer but also love when pieces have designs that look like flowers!
